Виховні заходи

                                 Виховний захід з англійської мови
Назва: «Intellectual Marathon». 
Форма проведення: гра-змагання. 
Клас: 6 
Мета  гри: розвивати непідготовлену мову учнів, креативні здібності учнів, виховувати інтерес до вивчення предмета та культуру харчування учнів, закріпити  знання учнів з теми «Їжа» і розширити загальний кругозір, удосконалювати вміння працювати в колективі та приймати спільне рішення, розвивати позитивні особистісні якості (відповідальність, доброзичливість, почуття взаємодопомоги),  тренувати увагу, пам'ять, мислення.

Обладнання: 
На дошці назва гри «Інтелектуальний марафон», правила гри, перелік конкурсів,  презентація з  завданнями, відеозапис.

Перебіг  заходу. 
І. Оргмомент. Привітання ведучого. 

Quiz-master: Good afternoon, children and our guests! I'm very glad to see you here. Now we shall organize a competition called "Intellectual Marathon". Two teams will take part in a game of the most quick-witted and the cleverest. It's time to introduce yourselves. Who is the captain of the 1 ^st team?
P1: I'm the captain of the team. The name of our team is "Erudites". Our motto is "Health above Wealth!"
Quiz-master: Who is the captain of the 2 ^nd team?
P2: I'm the captain of the team. The name of our team is "Optimists". Our motto is  “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.”

(Склад команд, їх назви і девіз визначаються заздалегідь). 
Quiz-master: Today all of you have a good chance to improve your English during the game. As there is no computer in the classroom, I have invited a competent jury to count the points. The members of our jury are ...
Now I'm going to teach you how to play this game. The game has 8 contests, they are: 

1 Associations.

2. Missing Letters.

3. Types of Food.

4. Likes/Dislikes.

5. Kinds of Food.

6. Some or Any.

7. Cans and Tins.

8. The  right choice.

ІІ. Змагання.

Конкурс 1.

Quiz-master: And now we come to the 1 ^st contest of the game called "Associations".  Kids, you'll say: « What are your associations with the word “food”? You have 1 minute at your disposal. Each team can get 5 points.

Конкурс 2.

 Quiz-master: And now we come to the 2 ^nd contest which is called "Missing Letters.". Look each team will   put the missing letters in the words. You can get 5 points for the right answer. 

Конкурс 3.

Quiz-master: The 3 ^rd contest is called "Types of Food." I need 1 pupil from each team. You should name types of food. Who will be the first? You can get 1 point for each right answer. 

Конкурс 4.

Quiz-master: Our next contest is called "Likes/Dislikes ". Each team will complete the sentences. You have 2 minutes at your disposal and can get 3 points for this task.

Конкурс 5.

Quiz-master: Attention, please! The 5 ^th contest is called "Kinds of Food.". This round is for the captains. Put the words in the correct columns and fill in the table.

Завдання для уболівальників.

Quiz-master: The following task is for the rest. I need 1 pupil from each team. You should read the tongue-twister as quickly as you can 3 times.
1. Put  your head on your bed. 

2. Run round the playground. 

Конкурс 6.

Quiz-master: The 6 ^th contest is called "Some or Any."  You have to complete the sentences. Use  some or any.

Конкурс 7.

Quiz-master: One more contest. It's called "Cans and Tins.". You should choose the right words. The  team  which answers the first and correctly wins. You can get 1 point for each right answer. 

Конкурс 8.

Quiz-master: The 8 ^th contest is called "The right choice". It's very important to make the right choice in our life: the right choice of a color, a hobby, a friend etc. Each team should choose the correct letters to complete the word and translate these words into Ukrainian.

ІІІ. Заключний етап. Підведення підсумків гри. 

Quiz-master: Friends, do you like music? Listen to the song "I Like food" (відеозапис).  Now and sing with British children. Our jury will add up the score of the game.
Jury: The score is ... to .... The team "..." is the winner.
